About Alex
Alex joined Dent Wealth Advisors in October 2021 and currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer. She was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. Alex graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Political Science. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Louisiana Monroe. Her broad educational background equips Alex with deep knowledge of governance, policy analysis, risk management, and ethical decision-making. This comprehensive skill set enables Alex to effectively navigate regulatory complexities, lead compliance initiatives, and foster a culture of ethical conduct within the firm.
Always eager to learn, Alex set out to obtain the Investment Advisor Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP®) designation. The designation signals recognition of an advanced knowledge and skill level for investment adviser compliance professionals and clarifies compliance competence. She earned this designation in January 2024.
When she’s not spending weekends traveling, she enjoys boating with her husband and two rescue dogs, trying out the newest restaurants, and spending time with her family.
