About Fred

Fred Dent’s first day on Wall Street was “Black Monday”, October 19th, 1987, when the stock market crashed by 23%. Today, he leads a team of advisors at Dent Wealth Advisors, a Baton Rouge, LA Registered Investment Advisory firm. He is the co-founder of Forum 225, a Baton Rouge leadership organization. In 1992 he led the successful effort to put lights on the Mississippi River bridge. A graduate of Louisiana State University, Fred is an active member of the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge and serves in an advisory capacity on several non-profit boards. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter in 1999.
